Baratza Grinder Modular CTU Display
Baratza, while well-known in specialty retail, had limited presence in the mass retail space. The task was to partner with the Baratza global team to refresh their creative direction and develop a cohesive materials palette for in-store displays. Our goal was to reposition the brand as a strong competitor in the coffee grinder market.
The design had to seamlessly integrate with Breville grinders, creating a unified look that positioned both brands as a family of premium coffee machines.
The Brief
Treat led a series of collaborative creative workshops with the client to develop a comprehensive global display style guide. These sessions resulted in the curation of a refined materials palette, including a robust powder-coated mild steel tray, an acrylic rear-printed subway tile backsplash, a water-transfer granite-effect benchtop, and integrated product information flip pads.
To accommodate a wide range of retail environments, we implemented a modular design system that offered flexibility across diverse store-specific planograms. A strong emphasis was placed on shopper education, ensuring customers were equipped with the information they needed to make confident, informed purchasing decisions.
