Lelit Island & Endcap Displays
The Lelit brand, once a well-kept secret in specialty retail, aimed to make a bold entrance into the mass retail market. Our mission was to collaborate with the Lelit global team to refine their creative direction and craft a cohesive materials palette for their displays. The goal: to position Lelit as a top contender in the premium espresso machine segment.
We were tasked with designing permanent demonstration benches and gondola end units that would showcase the full range of coffee machines and accessories. The displays needed to engage customers with educational messaging, while supporting live demonstrations, and allowing for future upgrades, such as digital screens, to keep the experience fresh and dynamic.
The Brief
Treat facilitated a series of collaborative creative workshops with the client to develop a comprehensive global display style guide. These sessions led to the selection of a materials palette featuring matte black & red powder-coated mild steel and pine timber laminate, capturing the industrial aesthetic desired for the brand.
To enhance customer engagement and education, we incorporated product-specific messaging through strategically placed graphic flip pads, effectively showcasing the full range of accessories. A communication pillar was also integrated into the design, providing a platform for staff to promote live demonstration schedules and, in future phases, to display related video content. These displays were successfully implemented across multiple flagship retail locations, securing high-visibility presence in key markets.
