BCF Awning Display
Our task was to create a value-engineered, durable display rack for 4WD foldable awnings. The display had to allow store staff to demonstrate the product by easily extending the awnings from the top. A critical safety consideration was ensuring the structure was stable and engineered to prevent tipping during live demonstrations.
The Brief
This solution required innovative engineering to ensure the mounting brackets could withstand the significant forces exerted when the awnings were fully extended. Following multiple mock-up iterations, we arrived at a design that enabled easy interchangeability of awnings for testing while maintaining exceptional durability. The entire chassis was constructed from thick-walled steel tubing and securely dyna-bolted to the floor during installation, ensuring maximum stability and eliminating any risk of tipping.
